Since 2016 I have had several conversations noting that the rise of MAGA along w monied-elites' fear of Progressives (and taxes, accountability, actual change, etc.,) would merge the mainstream/Centrists Dems and Moderate Never-MAGA GOP into a rebranded "Light-Right" party feigning Center.

It never occured to me that the process would be so blatant and heavy handed (Looking at you, Newsome, Klobochar, Slotkin, et al.). But all the Corporate money is now terrified of being tied to this Travesty and need a solid path back AND to avoid any potential prosecution,

and despite MAGA fear-mongering, Soros (jk) can't fund everyone. So of course, for money (and those Primaries are proving REAL to Dems and the ME, they need ro step up their pace. They need those Repub votes to protect them from the Prog and, lets face it, the generally outraged and fed up Americans
