the youth unemployment rate is 10.8% according to the ABS. if the difference in unemployment rate among Gen Z autistic people is the same as all autistic people then the unemployment rate among young autistic people is 63.41%.

for context, the peak unemployment rate during the great depression was 24.9%. autistic people and even more so young autistic people are going through our own great depression every day yet nobody, not least of all employers, seems to give a shit.
