Edna St. Vincent Millay was the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for #Poetry (1923) for her collection, "The Ballad of the Harp-Weaver, A Few Figs from Thistles & Eight Sonnets in American Poetry." One of the most celebrated literary figures of the early 20th century. She died #OTD in 1950.
