In fairness to Eby, (1) the Conservatives were in total disarray and looked like toast, and (2) the former Liberals within the Conservative party did an ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT job (2a) bringing all of their disparate ranks back together, and (2b) silencing the racists during the campaign.

Waiting on nurses strike soon as there is no contract in place and the new government will most likely will try to show off how fiscally responsible they will be which would be no raises and cut in services.

Who will be removed as leader very shortly, and will suffer the consequences of his dumb decision. The voters in BC let us all down, we will all suffer the consequences of their petty selfish decision. This is completely on them.

No I don't think so. I could very well be wrong but when I watched the Cons in chaos & the press pushing Eby for an answer on holding an election he seemed reluctant. I don't think he actually wanted the election but I do think he was persuaded that it was an opportunity that shouldn't be ignored.

The truth will out (someone's definitely going to write a book, and I'm definitely going to read it) but for I'm basing my opinion on everything I've observed about Eby over the years, and also his gloating before Findlay resigned, and even if he was persuaded it was still ultimately his call.

Who wouldn't gloat that Findlay resigned- I mean jesus wept. If an election would have solidified a progressive legislature then no matter what you read into Eby's posture if you actually didn't care for the Cons you should have been delighted at the chance to push them to insignificance.

Or maybe Eby himself thought it was a good idea, and wouldn’t listen to others who told him differently. I feel like Eby thinks pretty highly of Eby.
