Coming October 20: Cadet, our new $9/mo plan. Free to create. $9/month to ship. Here’s what’s changing, what’s not, and why 👇

➡️ Cadet — unlimited exports + premium features for $9/mo (annual) ➡️ Exporting files to use in production (apps, games, websites, etc.) move to paid ➡️ The Editor stays free ➡️ Fonts and audio move to Free ... cont'd👇

➡️ Runtimes stay open-source under MIT ➡️ Nothing changes for current paying customers. No runtime fee. Your exports are yours forever, regardless of plan status.

Free is for creating and learning. Cadet is for shipping. Voyager + Enterprise continue to serve teams who need scale and support.

Why add a new tier? Exports are where Rive delivers its value: when your work leaves the Editor and runs in apps, games, vehicles, and products. Cadet aligns price with value, while opening our lowest entry point yet.

Will you please consider displaying the actual cost from the start? A single payment made annually is not the same as paying small amounts monthly. This misleading practice is so widespread that it would be refreshing to see an honest price, even if it's higher. But it's good to hear the news.
