Post

Lots of new followers so thought I'd do an intro 🙂 This is me, without hat, in my garden, on a rainy morning in Manchester 🐝, UK Been working in tech for 25 years - software engineer then various leadership roles. Nowadays I'm a product & tech leadership advisor, coach, consultant. 1/4

I spent most of my career working in startups around the infamous Silicon Roundabout in London, but moved up to the wonderful city of Manchester 8 years ago. Manchester is A+. Tech sector exploded, fantastic city & culture, brilliant countryside on doorstep. Don't know why more don't move here 2/4

Things you will find me posting on? Lots. I tend to think out loud and like to use BlueSky to test my thinking, but: - Thoughts on tech trends - Org and team dynamics & productivity - Leadership - Impact of tech on society - Software engineering practices - Sometimes, some politics & economics 3/4

Some things I'm interested in: - Tech (of course) - Science - History - Economics - Systems thinking - Agile/XP/Lean Makes me sound boring 🤣. I also like electronic and noisy guitar music if that makes it any better. I look forward to chatting with you all 😊 4/4
