*LGBTQ or ‘gay’ conversion therapy is widespread in Ireland & other EU countries. It’s often run by ‘Christian’ fundamentalists or by so-called Gender Critical [far right] extremists. It is literally brainwashing & deeply harmful to the children & adults it is practised on.

Indeed the Irish national media has pushed conversion therapy for trans kids as a ‘final solution’, publishing articles to that effect. This has led to boycotts of RTÉ & the Irish Times by LGBTQ ppl. Being LGBTQ is just as ‘normal’ as being cis or straight. Conversion therapy is evil.
