There's *a lot* of social media in Europe. That's why we need an ecosystem approach, with shared infrastructure and good governance, not the libertarian model that got us here.

And @vestager.bsky.social takes the stage at #Rebuild. She's talking about digital infrastructure: "That's not a tech problem. That's a democratic problem." It's amazing to finally hear this said by someone with voice.

She's now taking up Judge Guillou as cause celèbre: "This is the sign that something is fundamentally broken."
