Hello — have you ever wanted to edit your posts?

This is actually rather troubling as it can invite a kind of "falsification" of posts, especially when there have already been answers/reactions and when the fact that there was an edit is not mentioned after the edit.

Even within 5 minutes this problem can occur.

Not seriously, and the post shows as edited anyway.

I replied within seconds and you might have changed the post within that time. I understand your point but in the current (political) times this possibility feels awfully wrong.

Who checks details like that? What’s the point, five minutes is longer than it would take to delete, rewrite and repost or just be at peace with a typo.
