yay! we were a musician in a version of The Bacchae with dancing girls at the Assembly Rooms 39 years ago - Fringe is so much fun!

dunno if this is still the case, but in our day being a performer got you a big discount on seeing other performances - we were there for three weeks doing two shows a day, but somehow managed to see 52 other shows in between (ah, youth) - highlight was Equus with wicker-woven horse heads on dancers
