The CIA betraying its former "assets" once they are no longer useful? Well I never!

It's literally a remake of "Charlie Wilson's War."

We do a great disservice to servicemen. I have a friend in the army who informed me before he had any symptoms he was pushed to take antidepressants and now he is dependent on them. When he doesn’t take them, it is obvious. Then there’s the reverse, like this guy, who was ignored and this happens.

We may never know..

This man was given to manic driving episodes. He drove to Chicago. He drove to Arizona. Driving cross country might have just made sense to him.

Reports say he started working for the CIA in 2011. He is 29 yrs old. He would have been born in 1996. Someone born in 1996 would have been 15 yrs old in 2011. Are these reports true. If so, I believe the US would bear a lot of responsibility for working with someone that age.

Basically the same story as many American veterans turned shooter.

…he felt abandoned because he most likely was… seems to be a pattern for our country - use them then dispose them….

Of course, “veteran services continue to fail and abandon their charges” doesn’t generate right wing outrage like “foreign man foreignly commits foreign-type crime against brave honorable defenders of freedom” but for what it’s worth I’m glad some journalists are still trying 🩵
