It’s still fucking insane to me the judge ruled that the First Amendment didn’t apply before the trial and that my lawyers couldn’t mount that defense. Like, what? It’s literally in the Bill of Rights I thought?

After Larry Flynt died America asked Ohio for another First Amendment hero, and they gave us @rooster.info. O-H!

And I thought the jurors would at least be able to ascertain that but the judge wouldn’t even allow them to consider the first amendment in their deliberations and they, like most sensible people, had probably had their fill on Shrek dong and wanted to go about their lives.

But yeah, I’d have no problem with the conviction if I had sent some random person, and not one of the top four most powerful politicians in Ohio, a nude Shrek. But it wasn’t that. It was attached to political commentary on his downfall. And then he tampered with a witness in broad daylight!

OK, here’s my concern. Why in the world did your attorneys not put a stop to it when the judge said that? They had a right to file a complaint against the judge, and have your case moved elsewhere. I question whether they are working for you. This is why one should never settle for a retired judge.
