My understanding is that both refused the appointment. DeWine told them to figure it out, even going as far to have Jay Edwards on tap if they didn't. But Husted blinked first like he always does, and he took an exile to DC that he hates. He's hoping Vivek loses so he can run for governor in 2030.

Do you think DeWine regrets appointing Husted over Vivek? Or someone else so Husted could run against Vivek in the primary? Not from morals but a political stand point
