I still don’t understand the “why”. That response mostly focused on bottom insets in scaffold but you can turn those off. Why doesn’t it work as expected when you choose not to resize?

Keyboard position is not reported by iOS hence it's not possible to resize flutter widgets in a direct way; the only reasonable hack is to use fake UIScrollView to trick iOS to resize keyboard implicitly. If I understand correctly, with thread merging this could happen within the same frame.

How is the native UIScrollView notified? The response you linked mentions view insets and those are definitely available in flutter. They’re in media query.
