Republicans are preparing to scrap House Speaker Mike Johnson’s bipartisan plan to avert a government shutdown, as Elon Musk joined conservative rebels to raise concerns about excess spending after Johnson cut a deal with Democrats in a bid to keep the government open.

How can an unelected private citizen dictate policy? Trump is not even in office yet and his benefactor gets to influence the House? I was worried abt Project 2025 all along and Musk at the end with his lottery. How can this be possible???

It’s not meant to. Unfortunately, the 🍊🫏🕳️ and GOP only care about money. I don’t understand how these men are getting away with any of this. Nothing like this has happened in our country before. Someone needs to stop it. The Constitution and justice only works when people uphold it.
