Every year I set myself the goal of watching every single Oscar nominated film before the ceremony, and every year I fail. But after watching Come See me in the Goodlight and Little Amélie today, I am at 48/50 films watched, which might just be the closest I've ever come!

I'm just missing Kokuho, which had a very limited run in theaters that I frustratingly missed. And the doc short Children No More, which isn't streaming anywhere. So I think I'm ultimately at peace with this year's failure.
