My comic people: Read the Green Lantern Blackest Night story on the flight home yesterday. Never been a Flash guy but feel like there’s a lot to unpack there with him (whatever version of him that may be). Just curious if you have story arcs I should read. Thanks!

If you're doing a Green Lantern kick there is a mini arch of John Stewart and MM, Cosmic Odyssey. Emerald Twilight is hype. Any of the Hal Jordan and Green Arrow stories are good

Cool cool Not much à flash guy but I did like this one story where Barry comes "back from the dead." that's in quotations due to the reveal. Check that one, The Return of Barry Allen

Next logical book to read would be Flash: Rebirth. It's also by Geoff Johns.

Did you follow it up with Brightest Day? That was pretty solid. Of the John's Lantern events though Sinestro Corp War is by far the best. Emerald Twilight New Dawn into Zero Hour and followed by Final Night is good even as a Hal fan :) Hard Traveling Heroes I have read like four times...

Oh man...interesting cause there is a lot of back story you missed. They had been setting up Blackest Night in the GL comics for YEARS! John's did a huge event every summer in the books starting with Sinestro Corp War, then the War of Light (where you meet the other Corps) followed by Blackest

and into Brightest Day. Heck some of the stuff goes all the way back to Green Lantern: Rebirth! (I was a hardcore collector and comic shop worker in those days) I never liked Johns writing of Barry Allen. He wrote better for Wally or Bart and especially Jay Garrick. Johns JSA is wonderful!
