The Tool Design panel went amazing!! Completely packed room, and we even had 30 people still waiting outside to get in. Thank you to everyone who visited, to gamescom dev and the AI in games organizers, and of course Theo and Anna for the great conversation!

Gamescom is bussing this week. There are barely any trains, with many replacement busses. Then there is a bus on the show floor, which is the waiting line for a bus game. Then there is another bus! A double decker, inside of which you can play a bus game.

The ARC Raiders booth is insane!!

They put helmets on you with headphones, and you genuinely have to loot around to find things. It’s very well done

Seeing the Witcher 3 at Gamescom again is awesome, with (@katstodian.bsky.social and @hanney.bsky.social)

What a great day today of no meeting Wednesday. Great fun hanging out with devs, and I even won a keyboard!

And of course, the fantastic Polish consulate party to end out the Wednesday Gamescom day

“From gaming’s heart I stab at thee” Time for day 5 of the Gamescom week!

I love country booths that are on brand.

We had a good shirt meetup at Gamescom, this time with 50% more Chenaski representation!

Thank you to everyone this week who told me that my Gamescom Survival Guide helped them! And, thank you to everyone who said my Gyms, Zoos, and Museums video helped them too!

Friday, end of gamescom Trade! What an absolute fantastic week it has been All the country booths are fantastic. I just have yet to see a Vatican booth. Maybe they can invite the chicago pope next year?

So many Europeans do not want to visit the US anymore that folks from the US now need to come here to Gamescom to do business. There was a big increase in the Americans I saw visiting this year.

For my Friday evening: No parties. Instead, floating in the hot salt water pool of the Aggripabad. After standing and sweating for days, how about floating in water? I highly recommend it

AND they have a bouldering wall!! So now both my legs and my arms deserve some rest

I miss people already If only we had a global wide meetup every month but without all the business meetings

Three years of gamescom tractors and what they taught me about B2B sales.pdf (all credit to @hanney.bsky.social)

I am now on my way back to Amsterdam, and despite everything this week, I am apparently still DB’s favorite customer

Wow, even the cookie stores are advertising for the game industry during gamescom.

Foods of Gamescom. The cakes at the Gamescom Dev VIP area are unbeatable every year
