Do they still have a big screen movie? Used to go there a few times years before, was a highlight of the day lol

Like a giant screen with a movie playing on it? Not that I’ve seen, sadly!

Yeah, they had a large cinema room! They played movies there to demonstrate their special new dolby tech. But they might've stopped doing it, then.

Brings back memories of building parts of the Sony stand back in 2000. That was a lot of work but a fun time too.

jealous! bonus points if you manage to spot and high five Posy, who i assume will be there.

Next, this automated camera rig, with a spline animation tool that has the route and runs in.

Getting very Metal Gear vibes from this camera drone

This is the biggest drone I have ever seen, hanging over the DJI booth. (Also, I am wondering what other industries are milling about here.)

(So, my plan today was to cross-post the conference using Indigo by @anilineapps.bsky.social, but I am sad to report it is not up for prime time usage yet. It constantly disconnects accounts, fails to upload posts, fails specifically on video uploads, and has a very confusing interface for threads)
