Wait—are you on the iOS or Android app, because the behavior's been inconsistent for years on both.

This is also the easiest way to negate anyone who says genAI has made software development better. Simply ask: Has your daily use software gotten faster, easier, or received the features you need, over the last 4 years? It hasn’t, so, what’s all the talk about AI in development about?

Something I've been wondering: does the push into genAI create even more distance between developers and the lived experiences of people that interact with their software?

I've been thinking about how AI can make software dev faster, but it can't make testing faster. for example previously devs would spend more time iterating and spending time with the product and finding UX problems that way, but now they might catch less of them by spending less time testing?

idk, maybe things work way differently in the more corporate and big team space
