beyond a basic subject, the client left all concept and ideation to me : in general, I was touched to see a few requests this month asking that I use their slot to explore very open-ended themes, characters, or simply draw for myself. it was a kindness I did not expect, much less in multiplicity.

a great reminder that though I rarely draw fanart at all these days, I am always happy to cook and craft per the request of clients : be it something I know or something I don't.

thank you so much! I felt like it was easy to miss the peat bog connection, something I stewed on upon the reveal of her design (the iron causing all the bodies to have red hair, etc.) : the theming of the 4th strengthened the link in my mind. but I like how it can be read as a chrysalis, as well!
