Sad to see Dan go. He lived the dream. Thanks for everything.

Wouldn't be where we are today without players like Dan Neil - it's a shame he didn't have more prem minutes 😔

Best of luck Dan. Absolute ambassador for safc. Saw you as a teen playing, always played your heart out. Sometimes, very much a confidence player, still young, still big potential. #oneofourown

So sad to see him go, wish him all the best for the rest of his footballing days!

Shame. I think they could’ve let him have more game time to prove himself.

Best of luck Dan - your contribution to the club has been immense and we wish you nothing but the best for the future. You will always get a rousing welcome when visiting the SoL!

😢 Awwww man. I would've kept him until the end of the season, especially with Xhaka out. I appreciate that there were contract issues; nothing that's left a bitter taste, I hope. Best of Luck Dan

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dan lad for everything you have done for our club, getting us promoted to the Premier League will always remembered with great fondness. Blessings
