#seattletransit trying to park my bike at Pinehurst Station light rail today for a lunch trip, and I find this. Over a dozen Lime bikes/scooters *carefully* placed in the way of the locking standees, as if Lime staffers did this. Malicious on their part. I had to lift two bikes to lock my own.

Lime has preferred parking locations at all light rail stations I checked on the app besides this one. Maybe one was supposed to be added when it opened? ( @transportation.seattle.gov )

Sound Transit works with Lime to designate the shared bike and scooter parking zones at stations. This area is designated as one of them. I've shared this with Sound Transit and with the SDOT micromobility team for their awareness.

It is well past time for @sound-transit.bsky.social to rewrite the rules of where shared cycles are parked at transit stations. This is unsustainable for anyone with mobility or strength limits - and that includes me, a 45-year-old with increasing pain issues.

the clusters of scooters and ebikes at Seattle Center is so bad on event nights that I often can't get through on the sidewalk. So I've started doing what any sensible adult would do. I push them over and watch em fall like dominoes
