This thing is indeed on. 24/7.

1. What

Should I be?

Nah I never got into anime I’m afraid. Watched some Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ as a kid but that’s about it.

Yeah! Big fan of self-hosting. I don’t particularly like OVH, their web dashboard and support are atrocious. But they’re cheap and don’t charge for bandwidth 🤷 porkbun for DNS, they’re great. rsync.net for near realtime backups, also excellent.

Used to watch it a lot as a teenager. Haven’t watched it in a long time.

Not sure. It’s on my to-watch list.

I’d rather die.

On my person I carry my phone, my AirPods, and my wallet. On my desk is a laptop, a wireless phone charger, AirPods Max, SM7B and associated gubbins, Studio Display, Tobii Eye tracker, ErgoDox, no mouse, and a bunch of ephemeral mess.

I don’t personally do it for my site. I think it’s overkill.

As my lawyer has already told you, Philip, I have an exclusive peering deal with the magpies. It’s out of my hands.

There’s many but one I’ve started a couple of times but never finished is branch prediction.

I’m doing things that don’t scale.
