I dislike things being called "sex cults". Being queer gets you put in that corner a bit too often for comfort.

I see someone say something is a sex cult, and being categorized as being in a sex cult for the crime of wearing basic bitch clothes or having sex where I am the woman, I can't help but wonder what it is that makes this person's sex cult a sex cult, and why this discredits them.

And I go to kink and sex parties! I've had sex in fairly public places, surrounded by other people doing the same! Go be in a sex cult? I don't care, I might join, I might stay the fuck away from your flavour of sex cult. Why name the sex part as what's discrediting, and not the abuse around it?

The line is arbitrary. Maybe make it not so. What is it you find reprehensible? For me it's the emotional manipulation and the tribalism. Neither of those things have much to do with sex. Anyways. Whatever. I don't wanna care.
