I wrote the first few drafts of my comic chapters and got my friends to read them. They loved it a lot. But, I need some negative feedback so I sent it to my other group of friends who are more professional. Got no negative feedback. Hmmm. This might be a problem.

To be fair, I did slave away 16 drafts over months and landed on one I feel I can be proud of. I'm excited to write more esp after finally learning my flow from so many failed attempts.

And what, they told you the comic is perfect so you'll leave them alone? Have some trust - both in your friends, and in your art and writing! Maybe it's just this good?

Constructive feedback tends to have negative slice to them. So far all my friends loved it. Itd a little hard to believe it's that good.

The words in your previous comics were few and therefore precise and deliberate. This brevity is how you overcame the limits of how much text can fit the page, and it is also an acomplishment of skill. So you might actually be that good

I'm glad you noticed 😁 Weighty dialogues tend to lose me because they hang weird on a very active panel. I feel like reading dialogue takes me out of being immersed by most comic panels. So I've been trying my way to mete that out the best I can.
