These moments I hold so dear. The day my brother took me to a Walmart and bought me Pokemon conquest & we ran from the store as a dust storm hit lives fresh in my mind. Even this weekend I am busting out Rock Band 3 (PS3) for friends. Physical media can build bonds and create lasting memories.
My parents were low income so I often just browsed game shops as a kid. Sometimes mum let me get a game. It'd cost her whole day's wage and a chunk of our rent. Dad once told me to check under the car seat and Pokemon Red was there in a bag. Ownership isn't the only thing we lose with physical media
