Havoc and Epoxy took up battle stances, the sergal wearing a toothed grin. "Lets give these fuckers a show, love!" Epoxy nodded and primed her glue projectors. "They'll regret facing Sticky Bomb!" There was a pause, and one of the cops arrayed against them sniggered slightly.

Havoc put a finger up. "Uno momento, por favor." They pulled their girlfriend into a huddle. "Astrid dear, I thought we were going to keep that between us." She smiled. "I like it though, Mel. I want people to be scared of it." Mel worked hard to find the kindest words. "I don't think it worked."

Astrid nodded. "I know, but it always takes time to build up that kind of fear." "I'm aware, my love. That's why they were petrified of us *before* you said anything." Astrid looked out of the huddle at the smiling wall of riot shields. "Right. Yes, I can see where this might have gone wrong."

Mel patted her shoulder. "Don't worry, if we put a dozen of them in the hospital, we'll get back to normal again." Astrid smiled. "Make it two dozen. I've got some anger to work out now." Mel grinned. "Nice!" "And also later at home." "...Ah." #korps #microfiction
