Anyone experienced a different bundle size output with the new Angular esbuild builder as opposed to the webpack one? Validating an Angular 19 app importing AG Grid and get very different bundle size outputs. Looks like a difference in tree shaking capabilities.

I haven't had the time to do further testing and update that question 😅 But I've read that barrel files make tree shaking harder, maybe that might be the cause 🤔

Yes, definitely heard that too. In fact our bundle size tests caught a regression where an import like import * as _utils from 'path'; Caused none of that code to be tree shaken. This may also be dependent on the tsconfig build target and the format of the output code
