Just fallen out with someone who seemed really lovely and I’d been talking to for ages. They’re excited for HBO’s Harry Potter. I explained why I won’t watch it, and got “agree to disagree”. When you have trans friends and family, you don’t get to treat everything as an abstract disagreement.

This has actually pissed me off now because I got the whole "I don't agree with JK Rowling but I'm still gonna watch it" response so I said "you do you, enjoy endorsing her behaviour" and he said "ok" 🤬
