I saw this advert on a bus, which kinda *completely* missells what this play is about? It looks like a light-hearted romcom about a quirky couple and their introverted son, not a story of gaslighting, neurodivergence and trying to survive in a world not built for people unlike you.

I would in no way, shape or form refer to the book as a "murder mystery", let alone this century's most popular. It's just utterly bizarre framing.

I wonder if it's a "brand it in a 'friendly to neurotypicals' way to get them in the seats" kind of ploy?

I... suppose so, struggling to work out what neurotypicals' *do* do...
