See the EU Vulnerability Database is now live. While I get the desire to have this, the problem that I now worry about is that this is going to fragment vulnerabilities. So making an already difficult problem even harder. euvd.enisa.europa.eu

Indeed this is my concern with having yet another vulnerability database it could lead to some manufacturers playing the system and deciding that they get a better result for their product out of one or the other. We already have Apache not releasing scores

Having said that, I do like the critical and exploited vulnerabilities sections as well as the search functionality.

Multiple countries already have their own databases, I don't see too much of a risk of having one based in the EU. Fragmentation yes, but I would imagine correlation would be possible?

In fact looking at it they already do the correlation for us between multiple different ID sources.
