SEIU CA has suspended our campaign activities and expenditures following extremely troubling allegations of sexual misconduct by Eric Swalwell. Our leaders will be meeting and will proceed on next steps through the democratic process laid out in our bylaws.

Basic knowledge of how state laws are passed (propositions and statehouse bills), procedures, revenue, spending, and taxes is needed for this seat. The only one with experience at the state and federal levels is Xavier Becerra, he is the most qualified. Katie Porter also understands governance.
