Fascinating. I wonder if this Timescape cosmology model will also account for some galaxies appearing to be older than they should be that have been observed through the JWST?
Man isn’t certain about mysteries of the universe previously thought explained. Sounds like the same message given all along. Humans speculate in absence of concrete answers. I guess that keeps the conversation going.
In realtà la possibile causa era già nota: il tempo in vicinanza delle masse rallenta. Dove la massa scarseggia è quindi più veloce, da qui l'accelerazione delle galassie finora attribuita all'energia oscura.
My best guess: an incomplete understanding of gravity, or a misinterpretation of what's being viewed when looking very distant.
Did you know that there is NO measurable effect of Dark Matter within our solar system? I don't think that's a coincidence.
What do you think of the idea that time dilation due to gravity has caused different areas of space to expand at different speeds? This would account for the early universe expanding at a steady rate due to its homogeneity, and increasing dilation over time.
