Naise! I've been wanting to get something similar too. I've downloaded some music to my phone so I'm not using streaming services any more but yeah, storage on my phone is limited and honestly, I survived the 90s and the 00s with multiple devices so I can't see what I can't manage that now.

Exactly, and just the idea of not using either phone storage or battery to listen to music was enough reason for me to move out. I still use streaming for browsing, but mp3 format all the way

As someone on that same train: welcome! My fave thing about standalone mp3 player is that notifications cannot touch it. It’s weird how used to interruptions I’d got. So much better like this. (Also, albums FTW)
