This happened down the street from me. The guy was sloshed from the nearby Tower District bars and clubs. we have had a huge influx of ICE here and in the nearby cities where harvesting just ended, many ppl are impacted. 1 of my students was pulled over on the way to school, many absent kids.

Fearing for their safety, officers say the 72-year-old man pulled out a gun and shot Gonzalez. The woman's boyfriend, who is a police officer and was off-duty, came to the home and put Gonzalez in handcuffs.

Many smaller cities/towns are fighting back. Following ICE on the farm roads, protesting, school walkouts. Lots of fear. The corner that is usually full of music, the ad-hoc Friday swap meet, and food trucks was eerily empty today as I left work. I am terrified for my students and their families.

Rumor is that ICE will be at the Fresno Fair this weekend, the swap meets. Ppl have been disappearing, empty cars in lots and streets. Pictures up on IG/FB for locals. #AbolishICE
