Oh yeah. Today, I presented it with a problem and asked, "Which steps would you consider to perform?" And, well, it just went on building an entire "solution" (6 files, more than 500 lines of code) while I was looking at it like, "W-w-w-what's happening?". It's too eager to output expensive tokens.

Just read this post and had to log in to Bluesky just to mention—you probably don’t want to deal with running MySQL or PHP locally on your machine if you can avoid it. Try something like Docker or Orbstack + DDEV to run in a container. So much easier than trying to figure out local dependencies.

Honestly getting PHP and MySQL running on macOS has been the least painful part of all of this! If it wasn't for a previously borked installation from a few years ago on an old laptop "brew install php" and "brew install mysql" would have been fine - they worked just right on my more recent Mac
