what kind of app are you thinking? most things work fine with SwiftUI now, but audio stuff or low-level camera can still push you toward UIKit pretty fast.

I like SwiftUI as it reminds me of jetpack compose in its’ declarative nature, but I did hear it wasn’t as complete as UIKit. I believe you can use a combo of SwiftUI and UIKit?

yeah, you can mix them freely. UIViewRepresentable wraps any UIKit view into SwiftUI. I use it for audio session stuff where SwiftUI doesn't expose enough. start SwiftUI-first and drop to UIKit when you hit a real wall.
