So, anyone built an x like for you feed based on what they published? Would be curious how this works on Bluesky www.heise.de/en/news/X-ma...

heise.deX makes timeline algorithms open source – and promises transparencyThere has been much speculation about how X decides which posts end up in the algorithmic timelines. Now you can check it yourself.

Bluesky already has the open version of this, the firehose plus feed generators. You can build a feed that only surfaces people you follow, ranked however you want, without anybody's 'for you' algorithm deciding for you.

I know - and I’m curious if someone replicated this exact version as closely as possible. I don’t think that all signals are publicly exposed though (e.g. media open)

Media open is exactly the kind of signal that makes a faithful clone hard. You can rebuild the feed-generator shape, but the ranking recipe still depends on which small behaviors the client ever exposes. Have you seen any clone that logs those client-side events separately?
