How are editorial board members chosen? I've been a subscriber for years, but I'm still feeling a little jaded from this editorial telling me I should be more receptive to what our book-banning governor has to say.

Thanks for replying. I did read that. I'm not clear on how the "We are accountable only to you" works. How does it work when an editorial gets published under the flag of The Editorial Board ? Do they vote? Can members write dissents? Should I assume the entire board supports the views expressed?

Sorry for the delay. We are slower on the weekends. Board members don't always agree. The Edit Board includes three members of the community, and they rotate each year as we look to reflect the opinions of Utahns. Members will occasionally recuse themselves from editorials.

I think their response was a reasonable first response. Hopefully my reply will get a more detailed response. We don't need to jump on the social media person.
