Easy. Capitalism favors multinational and billionaires through corruption,piracy and war. Social benefits the people by forming a government of We the People not they the corporate. Doesn’t get any easier than that

It is the duty of our government to, among other things, "promote the general welfare," as it says in the mission statement for the USA, (or the preamble to our Constitution). Right-wingers slap a label on those who try to do so as "socialists." To Trump, & his gang, the New Deal is "communist."
