The missing step between 1 and 2: context window fills up and the agent silently forgets every design decision it already made. Each new session rediscovers the same dead ends. Not a loop. A spiral.

this cycle hits every team eventually lol. the agents that escape it are the ones where someone did the boring work upfront - clean task scoping, explicit failure modes, no circular deps. basically, good process before automation not after
