i always hit this thing where clippy always wants to rewrite code like this to have the `if let Err(e) = forget(app, key).await` be part of the else condition. i feel like that decreases legibility in this case though?

Yeah, I hate that. Maybe they just want to tell you that you can now chain `if let`s. But in the most cases it just looks bad
