Binge drops are wrong, it's just that Netflix doesn't care

Imagine if Max dumped “The Pitt” all in one night. The buzz would have lasted all weekend and then after it would be like it never happened.

As it drops is the only real way to do it. The conversations and suspense this season about Severance were great! Coworkers and I were speculating all season! Binge drops are just not fun.

Was disappointed to discover that Disney is dropping 3 episodes of Andor season 2 every week.

I think they want to make them bite sized, but the different weeks are a year apart I think?

I think they probably agree at this point but too proud to admit it. Instead they try to split these drops into smaller parts (like Squid Game or Cobra Kai)

They used to binge drop anime seasons Then they did delayed drops These days they drop episodes more or less the same time it airs in Japan, and even Netflix original stuff is oftentimes dropped weekly

Netflix doesn't drop anything scripted weekly unless it's constrained by a broadcast partner release

i agree with you, i hate binge watch tv shows, i always watch one episode a day (if i'm watching something that already aired or ended) or weekly when it drops.
