Janelle Stelson is correct: we start earning Social Security from our first jobs and should have our benefits protected. Her opponent, Republican Scott Perry, wants to raise the retirement age. Stelson is EXACTLY the kind of candidate we should send to Congress by voting in November.

They already raised the retirement age. Didn't help! People like me still chose to file for benefits at 62. My analysis showed I would earn the same overall amount using this method as waiting until I was 67 based on living to 80. Living that long I'd be the oldest living person in my family.
