Ok, here's something fairly extraordinary. Recently found 8mm footage has been married up with audio and it's now possible to see/hear 12 mins of VdGG at Massey Hall Toronto '76. Respect to Jim Christopolus for doing this. Enjoy: youtu.be/8y-NOSMG22c

I saw VDGG in 1976 at the ATSV Halle in Saarbruecken, Germany. I was 16 and travelled alone across Germany to see them. They are still the best band I have ever seen or heard or collected. youtu.be/8y-NOSMG22c?...

Mr Hammill I only made a bluesky account to reply to your post. I want to share appreciation as a 20 year old from germany, I really enjoy the timeless music of VDGG. I hope there will be more live footage in the future 🙏 and if you ever return to Leverkusen it would be an honor to meet you!
