In the chat, we discussed how kicking City out would damage the brand of the Premier League. The answer would appear to be not much. Out of the so-called Big 6, City are the only side without a club-specific podcast produced by The Athletic (Why Always Me was binned-off in 2024)

Perhaps the most impish suggestion from this week's pod was if City do go under as result of the Mansour being divested and the club buckling under the debt of fines and legal action, will United move into the City of Manchester stadium?

Great pod as always. The Burnham/Gov angle is really interesting... Whatever the outcome, there will be fury from nearly all sides, it's a no-win situation. My view is the owners have to be banned and compelled to sell, no-one has ever been further from the "fit and proper persons" description.
