Has the solver been updated today? Seems like it's much faster even in high performance mode. However, the quality seems to have degraded. There's a significant difference in the number of lines looked at unfortunately. Could we have a toggle? Slow but optimal vs fast and almost-optimal.

You are right, it has gotten a lot faster! We are announcing a bit later today or tomorrow. However, it shouldn't have degraded, quite the opposite actually – should be both faster and better than before. What makes you say it's degraded? We would love to look into the details of that.

I'm judging it based on the quantitative (how many projected points) and qualitative (how many potential teams) metrics. I'm on WC this week, BB7. The way I've learned to use Solio is to always keep the last best squad in one branch and always use new branches for new optimise runs.

After the update, the projected points of newly optimised team were much lower than old team (also generated via optimise, with same constraints). Qualitatively, while optimise is happening, I don't see it working as hard as before - for example, earlier it would look at both Haaland and no-Haaland

And Haaland draft was edging it. Now, it just gives the no-Haaland draft for the sake of speed. Even though I can see that the old optimised Halaand draft is better (even though it had Ballard who's dropped in points because of injury). While the speed is impressive, I think it's worse quality

An example that should (hopefully, given I can't compare myself) demonstrate this: WC6, BB7 (don't think this is necessary) Large optimisation window (19 weeks say, but at least long enough to include GW16) Optimistic disruption probability (so, the comparisons are not affected by that)
