Good thread. When I was a stupid angry teenager I used to hang out with neo-nazis and one trait I remember they all had was that nobody would openly admit they were nazis. They would all hide behind pseudo intellectual reasoning for their hatred and racism. Just like Mr Rails.

Someone who divides people into good and bad based on some innate or cultural attribute is a fascist. It‘s as simple as that. And yes, that also includes religious fanatism of all kinds, for example.

Sigh. It‘s just that I really really like Rails. I’m in a constant quarrel with myself, but it’s convenient and pays my bills. And still I have to put up with him and his ideology every day. 🤮
