that and private accounts 😭

And polls. And private accounts.

I can only think of the YTP dialogue: "Hey patrick are you angry too?" "Yeah." "What's the matter?" "Foreskin. What's your problem" "I have gonorrhea"

Literally the ONLY thing keeping me on Twitter since I commission a lot of artwork and I need images in DMs to check in on the WIPs.

I forgot you can't send images in DMs, WHAT THE HECK

i just realized you cant send images in dms yet thats actually insane

That's still not a thing? I was doing a commish ages ago on here and was thrown off that you can't send images in DMs, I'd have figured they'd fix it by now

but at the same time, Money Hashtags!

this is fine to me. Not every app needs to be a messaging app and that's okay .

Isn't the point of DMs that they are private, so stuff there could be unmoderated? Like if you let someone DM you at all, it's because you allow them to send anything At least there could be an option like oh only allow images to be send in this circumstances

Not trying to play defense for Bsky's lack of basic features, but they aren't wrong. Moderation is a nightmare with how big/chaotic some platforms are and DM activity adds to it. If they prefer using a team of real people over just throwing faulty AI at the problem I can understand their reasons tbh

That's me every single time they make an update

oh man i was just tweeting at them about features i want and you can’t even send images in dm 😭?? we’re getting drafts in 2030

No like bro I've been having to use imgur which half of the time breaks the images I send 😭

It has to be a inside joke or something

yeah im shocked thats not a feature yet tho who knows MAYBE it didn't cross their mind as a day 1 option cuz they are unsure how to do image moderation in DMs effectively... We also need a way to kinda "lock"/"private" accounts too as well

Don’t forget the polls!

alongside a free edit button, that's like the one of like two features i want them to add, especially if they find themselves unable to implement private accounts

EDIT BUTTON!...

I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting this feature. It's very necessary.

Giiiiiiifffffffsssss~~~
